Just got two letters from Honda saying 1) I need to bring the car in for a head light "update", and 2) they extends the warranty on the radio to 7 years/100,000 miles.

Well... I have put 110,000+ miles on my car. So, I guess that doesn't matter anymore... ;(

 

1. Yes it does matter, so bring it in. Mileage/warranty is not an issue when you have a recall or "product update."
2. Where have you been? This info came out weeks ago.

 

 

Depending on the dealer, you can ask for "goodwill service" despite you being over the mileage warranty.

 

Never have gotten the radio one, but did get the headlight one.

 

I didn't get either letter. Luckily I don't have an issue with either problem.

 

I don't know. I just got the letters... along with some other class law sue letters saying some people were suing Honda and I was in the class.

 

I just got my letter too, but I knew about it coming out from people on here who received them earlier. Good luck getting your headlights fixed up.
