I've been trying to fix my side marker light, I tried replacing the bulb, and thought had fixed it, but now I've realized that the light only works when the trunk is open, but once it closes about half way, it turns, out, I figure there's a loose connection somewhere, but don't know where it'd be, does anyone know how to fix this? Its the right light on the trunk that lights up when you turn on your headlights... i'm not really sure what its called...

What year. If it's an '04, likely the trunk wire harness is broken near the hinge. There's a Safety Recall for this on some '04's.
