Hi - I've just imported my '08 TSX into Canada, and now I need to take care of the DRL issue. I've found a couple of threads related to this here, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this issue themselves and can say for certain which DRL mods may or may not be considered acceptable by the Canadian authorities. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated!

Have you asked the Canadian authorities what their requirements are?

 

Check with your local Acura dealer to see if there is a retrofit kit.

 

So you are done importing it, or did they require you to install the DRL ?....

 

Unfortunately I'm still dealing with this issue. The local Acura dealer has said they can't help, and Canadian Tire wants $300+ to do the modification. I want to try using the kit that others have referred to in the forums, but no one seems to be able to tell me whether or not that will be sufficient to pass inspection :-(.

 

Call Acura NA if the local dealer is no help.

 

I'd ask the Canadian version of the state police what the requirements are so you at least know where to start.
