idle problem after injen CAI installed ?

idle problem after injen CAI installed ?
i just installed my intake yesterday and when i turned it on today the idle is at 1,500 rpm ... anyone know why its that high ?

Check the vacuum lines. You may have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Once in a while I start with a 1500 idle too on my 04 6MT (also have an Injen).

I didn't notice if this was specifically after installing the Injen or not, though (installed it in November 06).

Idling @ 1500 on cold startup is normal isn't it.

i squeezed one of the hoses and the idle went down and just stayed there now it idles at 850 rpm
