I want my spoiler OFF...

Okay, so I bought my TSX back in July 04' with the spoiler already on..I was coo with it at first but now I want to take it off... I kinda got started it on it then I realized.. oh shit the wiring for the break light....then I noticed that there's the sticky pad also aside from the bolts that needed to be taken off.... I've read on other threads when TSX'ers were debagging their emblems they used the hair dryer and floss .. Im wondering now if I'd have to use the same concept? As for the wiring for the break light.. I dont even know where to start.. Has anyone done this before? If so... HELP!

lol

You'll also have to find a way to fill the holes that are in your trunk lid. Maybe you can just swap trunks with someone.

What color car do you have?

I might be looking for an OEM spoiler in Carbon Gray.

if you live close I don't mind trading them with you. But since you're in Hawaii, I think the shipping cost alone is not worth the cost for both of us. I think the best thing for you is to trade locally or find one at the junk yard. My $0.02 But I figure you already know that....

Wingless is the way to go! I had wingless on my Integra and now the TSX. Its such a clean look IMO. I hope you figure something out because it'll make your car even sicker!

btw. maybe its time to get a CF trunk??? That would solve your problem and you'd be able to go back to it if you ever wanted to

Yeah, a lot has been telling me to get the CF hood.. but uhh..Im low on funds LOL. As for going to the junk yard and finding a totalled tsx.... thats a negative. *knocks on wood* there's isn't a totalled tsx here in Hawaii.

Sorry to the OEM Spoiler lovers, but I hate the way it makes the TSX looks as well. Anyways, once the spoiler is installed, it leaves holes of permanence, so you don't have much of a choice but to leave it on.

And like the people above has already stated, your best bet is to swap w/ someone or visit the junkyard.

I would say yes (I have a CG), but we're at opposite ends of the continent, so I'm not sure we could make it work out, unless you plan a vacation in beautiful Ohio.
