How do I patch/repair leather?

On my driver seat, near the bottom rear, there is a tiny (1.5-2cm) tear of the top layer of leather. Everytime I sit down, I feel like it agitates and potentially worsens the damage. How do I "patch" this or fix it? Right now, it's hanging by 1/4 of a circle. Imagine a flap of skin hanging after you scrapped your knee. Looks like that.

Thanks for any help.
