Hello,

First time posting here. I have a 2005 TSX, 6-speed, without nav.
I just popped the hood tonight and noticed something weird on the insulation. It looks like an animal has been eating it, or something is overheating in the engine bay.
Has anyone seen this before? should I be concerned?

It was not there a couple months ago and my car was in for service 6 weeks ago. They did not mention anything.

 

do you live near fields mice and rats can eat all sorts on car, is there any water getting trapped in the bonnet

 

The car sat ouside for 3 weeks while we were on vacation. Anything could have happened to it.

There is no water near the bonnet.
