I have a 2007 tsx and i just got new racingbrake two piece rotors and EBT500 pads. i want to replace the brake fluid and i read in the service manual the proper way to flush the system. the question i have is has anyone used another brake fluid other then the Honda fluid which "necessary" in the honda manual?

 

Get the Honda stuff for peace of mind. It will probably be a few bucks more but worth it. FWIW, I bought some generic power steering fluid for my truck and Corvettes the other day and the label specifically stated "not for use in Honda vehicles". So who knows what magic additives Honda uses in their fluids?
