Holes in (driver) all-season floormat?

Hi all,

as u already know, there are 2 hooks holding the original carpet mat in place on the driver side. I also got the all-season floormat and there are 2 holes, however, the hooks don't seem long enough to go through the holes in the all-season floormat. any idea? should the all-seaon floormat just rest 'on top' of the hooks? kinda weird...

thank

Are you trying to install the all season mats overtop of the carpet mat? If so, that would not allow enough room for the hooks. You need to choose which mats youd like installed, and leave the others out...

So are those all season mats really worth it... I've been thinking about getting some, it seems like they would be really easy to clean and you don't have to vacuam the carpets or worry about stains!

If you live somewhere where you really only have 2 seasons, spring and summer, then you dont NEED it. If if snows where you live, you definately are going to need some good rubber mats IMO. And the OEM ones are great because they fit perfectly in the TSX (around the floor hinged pedal) and they also say TSX on them

thanks. actually, the dealer just 'installed' the all season mats on top of the original carpet mats... that's why... ok, I will take the carpet mats out

I didn't have any trouble installing both floor mats to the hooks. Dealer didn't have either floor mats installed correctly. I got both on the hooks without much trouble.

I live in VA like you and I can honestly say they're worth it. The carpet mats would always get tons of dirt/etc on them after a few days. The Rubber mats still get dirty, but they're a lot easier to clean. Most of the time I can just pull them out and shake them off.

I have found the floor mats to be very useful. I have the parchment interior and it tends to show dirt pretty easy. This means one less thing I have to worry about messing up. Probably no reason to take out the stock floor mats unless you have more room than me to store them.

I didn't like the all seasons at first because they weren't the same color as the rest of the interior (dealer threw them in), but now I am glad I have them. I don't worry about wiping my feet at all before getting in my baby.
