Angry Grinding sound on driver seat

has anyone encountered a grinding sound when moving the driver seat from the farthest position forward to the back.
I was kind enough to let my wife drive my car. She is about six inches smaller than I. When I went to move the seat back, it started to make a grinding sound as if rocks were in the track???

chefjeh, check out the thread called "TSX Defects." It's a closed thread now, but you'll see that you aren't the only one with the grinding seat movement.

Yeah, I was the first one who reported it (on the "old" site).
At first, only a couple of people said they had the same thing, and most people said they had no problem. But gradually, more and more people have noticed the same problem. Nobody has known exactly how to put it. I called it "Grinding seat-adjustment." Others have called it bumpy, lurching, or noisy. But we all know what we're talking about.

The problem seems to get a bit better if you move the seat back and forth all the way a few times -- but not completely, and the problem seems to come back full-fledged before long. As far as I know, the cause and the remedy are still unknown. (I haven't brought my car in for service yet. When I do, I'll have them look into this.)

Got it now too. Seems like I'm in for getting pretty much all of the TSX defects on mine. Rattles (mostly gone now), brake noise (gone now), grinding power seat, loose driver's seat, noisy driver power window, and whatmore yet??

Will get it checked next oil change...

Add me to the list of seat grinders. I rarely move the seat, so it's no biggie, but I'll definitely ask to have it looked at when I bring the car in for its first service.
