Great.........fog light cracked w/ clear bar on it.

So I noticed today that my passenger side fog light is cracked w/ the clear bra attached to it. Nice huh

Anyways has this happened to anyone?
And does anyone have those rubber things that goes where the fogs go that they can sell to me for cheap?

I think someone needs to make a solid plastic cover for the fogs.

had that happen to my first set of film.....they did eventually pay for the fogs, but it was a bitch to get that done.

Right now I have the yellow lamin-x film on also, but my passenger side also cracked. I don't think it is worth going through the hassle to get them to pay for this set either.

I think I'l either leave it on cracked, or just buy a replica set for the 02-03 civic, which btw are the same as our car minus the bracket and surrounding plastic peice.

Actually I was thinking of just putting in those black rubber pieces that came w/ the 04 and 05s w/o foglights. Anyone know what those are called and where I can get a pair?

I've had the film from Groits garage and still cracked a fog light. I'm not running without film at all and hoping for the best. I'll run film in winter since rock salt and such are thrown down. Besides, I hate the fact that our fogs burn the film.

Is this a common problem with fog lights in general (regardlesss of manufacturer)? I still can't believe I paid 30k in cash to live with this problem.

I believe it's a common problem with fogs in general. I went through three sets on my old car.

When I bought the car the fogs were already installed. When I did ask for those pieces the sales guy said the installers threw them away already.

I'd be willing to pay up to $15 for both.

If anyone has them lying around and dont need them, I'll gladly take them off your hands.

I think anything close to the ground has a good change of getting hit w/ rocks going at high speeds.
