Front Suspension Creak

Hello all! I just purchased a 2008 TSX Manual and i love it! Anyway, Right now when I first start up and pull out in my car there is some creaking when i turn the wheel left to right. It seems to go away eventually during the drive but usually happens again once I start up the car and leave a parking lot. Any ideas?

see if the power steering hose recall was done, if not the flush of new power steering fluid may help

Yeah, basically check the PS fluid. Your car is pretty new so it shouldn't need a change (which is optional anyway since it's actually "lifetime" and there's no maintenance interval for it). Another thing is, unfortunately, the steering rack is not immune to problems in these cars. No matter what, try to determine if the PS hose recall was performed (assuming 08's are effected; I forget if it applies to all 1st gen model years) and if it wasn't, and it qualifies, you should plan on having it done. And even if it was, that doesn't mean that the fluid was changed. If it looks OK, most dealers won't change it, they'll just add what they have to (if any).

Thanks guys I appreciate it! I should be getting my plates this week and I'll ask my dealer about the recall.

Found out that the recall has be done from MyAcura.com. Is most suspension covered in warranty or considered wear and tear items?

Don't forget to check the round rubber bushings in the front of the lower control arms and make sure the suspension bolts are all tight. I had the same problem with my 04 TSX, but after checking the suspension and replacing the lower control arm bushings (the front ones were torn), the creaking went away.
