Unhappy front crossbar making noise on accelerate on acura tsx 06

I'm not sure if it's the front crossbar.. but when i first start up my car in the morning or after it has been parked for few hours, on the very first acceleration on the gas pedal, i can hear and feel a clank noise. the sound comes from the front and i'm not sure what the noise is. but it sounds like a metal bar clank noise..

it only clank once..and it remains smooth the entire ride.. this happen intermittenly.. but i'm beginning to worry.. my acura tsx 06 is now in 10k range...

the clank is the anti-lock brakes clicking in and activating.

i was worried about this same noise. but since it only happens the first time i really step on the gas after starting up my car, i figured it was normal... for some reason. i really hope it's just the abs activating

It's the ABS self check system. Don't worry, we all have it.

Im wondering if this is the sound I hear......, I have a manual......, and after first exceleration with a cold engine....., ill hear a clunking metal niose....., But not sure if it is what you guys are talking about....., I hope it is thought, because it has been bothering/ scarring me. I brought it to the dealer and they didnt mention anything about abs barakes making a noise like that....., The tech dude couldnt get the car to make the noise....., but as I said he didnt bring up that scenario when talking about the situatiuon..... how loud is the noise....., is it that noticeable......, Mine varies???

To be technical, I had read somewhere that it was due to the VSA system testing the ABS after a cold start. I could be wrong, but I recall reading this at TOV some time ago.

It's pretty loud if you have the radio off. I notice it. And it's normal. I think it's even covered in the manual. Do forum search on "ABS self check"

...But basically, don't trip man
