I was following my father the other day and he swears my front headlight is flickering. I have looked at it myself while the car isnt moving and it seems fine. Is it possible that something is loose or that my father just isnt used to the HIDs? If something is wrong, is this a common problem?

 

he probably doesn't know what HIDs look like. the color hue can change as the angle of the light changes, so if you go over a bump it might seem like the intesity or color is quickly changing.

And further flickering will be induced as the cut-off line passes up and down through his rearview mirror, making it appear as though the lights are flashing him.
