engine reving problem
I'm having a problem with my 2003 TSX. When I am traveling at 40+mph the engine makes a higher rev sound than there should be. It's almost like one of the pistons is working faster than the others or maybe the transmission. The RPM guage doesn't show any change in revolution and the car seems to drive fine. But this rev sound is starting to get a bit louder.
Any ideas???? |
sorry, i dont really understand your problem...

Any ideas???? i think you are refering a high pitch noise from engine at rpm of 2000-4000??? if i am right, this is the intake noise, don't worry, nothing is wrong, the intake is sucking lots of air and it can be noisy!! someone told me Prelude also has it.....;) |
I took the car to the Acura dealer. We found out the sound is coming from the rear wheel barings. They have ordered new tires and will replace the existing one.
