Hello! I have an 06 Acura TSX that started leaking power steering fluid around a month ago. I never repaired it, so my power steering pump is also fried. I’ve noticed a clunking sound around the pump area. Can a dry or bad pump cause noise like that? Thanks In advance!

 

It will make all kinds of noises and also ruin the rack and pinion buy putting metal in it.
