Hi guys, newbie here!

I've got an 08 TSX w/Navi. A while back, I was messing around with the Homelink buttons. This might have just been a coincidence, but I soon noticed after that the driver side map light would not turn on if I pressed the unlock button on my key fob OR opened my door. The information display in the instrument panel acknowledges that my door is open, but the light does not turn on. Note that it will work just fine if I click it on and that my passenger side one works just fine (although it did stop working altogether a couple days ago, but when I took off the plastic thing protecting the bulb, it turned right back on..) I think my bulb just might not want to dim.

So, I went to the dealership, but they said my car is out of warranty, and they'd charge an hour or so's worth of labor to look at it. They weren't very nice to me either :\.

So anyway, is there a fix to this? I'm also getting LED bulbs soon (Cool White 3022-xHP4 ones from superbrightleds). Do you think this might fix it?

Oh, and the bulb is stock and I don't think it's bad, because Ive tried switching the poles and switching the right and left bulbs. And there's also the fact that it will turn on if I press it.

This person, and everyone else in the thread, all have aftermarket LED bulbs. I still have stock..
