So yea my 2005 acura tsx drivier seat cannot incline or decline.

Well its stuck straight up, not sure why its up there but i can atleast sit in it.

Anyone had this problem and had to get it fixed?
am i better off replacing the motor or getting and aftermarket seat than going to the dealer?

 

Recliner assembly is bent
their charging 1250 for it...

Yea i'm not sure how i'd go about it just call up a junkyard with a tsx?

 

go on ebay, craigslist for a parted out tsx and call them.... easy enough

Links almost all junkyards in north america... find a TSX (or specifically a TSX seat) and call the junkyard and ask about it.

You can always swap the leather from your seat over to the one you get from the junkyard, if the colors are different. The leather is mostly held on by clips (for the lower half anyhow, not sure about the seatback).
