Driver front parking light works intermittently

A minor annoyance for a 3-month-old 08 TSX. My driver front yellow parking light works about half the time. Other times it is completely out when the lights are turned on, or when it is supposed to flash for remote lock/unlock verification.

I want to avoid a dealer visit. Is there a quick way to troubleshoot? Loose connection?

You can check the connection fairly easily for yourself.

1. Park the car with the steering wheel cocked all the way to the right.
2. In your driver's side fender, remove the necessary clips to be able to peel back the black plastic fender liner (I believe it is two but it may be three)
3. Pull back the fender liner. Don't be afraid of bending it a bit, it goes back, and will be clipped to your fender anyway.
4. Reach in and feel around until you find the socket for the parking bulb. Twist it and it will pull right out.
5. Check to make sure the connection is solid; I recommend turning on your parking lights while you have the bulb and harness in hand so that you can see if it is truly a connectivity issue.
6. Repeat reverse to re-assemble.

Hope this helps.
