Hi,

My dome lights in the back and the left on on the driver side have intermittent issues where they don't turn on when the door is open, but the front one will turn on if I force it to the ON position.

Should I replace the mounts? Has anyone done that? Why would both rear and front left have similar issue? Same circuit maybe?

 

I have a similar problem. They all work when I flip the light switch to on position but will not work when any door is open. Did you ever get it figured out? by the way i tried replacing the overhead front light cluster circuit. that did not make a difference.

If you want to ged rid of the cluster board i am interesred, mine is erratic but i am hesitant to buy a new one and find its something else.
The local rep wants $44.00 for a new one.

In my car, the driver-side dome light doesn't turn on when the doors are opened, but it will light up when the switch is moved from door/auto to ON.

While I was installing my dashcam, I had to remove the entire assembly. I noticed that the bolt on the driver-side was very rusted. When looking online for a replacement bolt, I noticed that the name of that particular bolt is "bolt, ground." Apparently the bolt is used as a ground. I don't know how that particular bolt became rusted (the passenger-side bolt is fine).
