Does your '05 and older NAVI compass update in real time?
I got a '07 TSX loaner and I noticed that the compass on the NAVI updates as I turn, as I'm going around a cloverleaf, etc. In my '05, it updates only when the turn is complete and on a new road. If I were to drive around in a parking lot, the compass would not move until I get back on a road it knows about. And sometimes my compass is just the slightest bit off... If I zoom in/out the compass updates itself (20 degrees or so)...
Is that just a fundamental difference between the '06 and greater NAVI versus the '05 and older? Or do I have a problem? I asked the dealership about this somet time ago and they claim it's normal. But driving in the loaner today jarred this to the top of the memory bank.
Thoughts?
