Does the nav's Display:Auto work for you?
Does the nav's Display:Auto work for you?
I never bothered to ask about this before but now that I do more night driving it's getting on my nerves... in the Nav's setup screen where you can choose day, night, or auto for the display brightness/color, I assume that "auto" means... well, that it does something automatically.
Change display mode depending on headlights being on/off, change display mode depending on the clock... whatever it's supposed to do, mine doesn't do it. I've left it on auto for a week now, and no matter what time of day I get in the car, or what position the headlight switch is in, the "auto" display mode doesn't make a brightness/color change.
Anyone know what's going on here?
Oh P.S.: yes, my night mode is set to a different brightness and color scheme than the day. The modes switch just fine if I manually change it from day to night.

I asked the same question not too long ago...
Change the brightness for your dash, don't have it on full.
So turn your lights on, bring the brightness down... and it will automatically do it.
