Check my cardomain... I tore down a lense. FYI, good luck getting to it... takes heat to get the seal to get soft enough.

Also, you'll need to seal them again and that is the pain.

Speaking of warranties. Make sure you dont void the warranty while attempting to do this.

If the sealing process is the same as previous Honda/Acura headlight assemblies, I do believe people bake the assembly in the oven, at 350F for about 5-7 minutes and pry the housing open.

It seems like a lot of work to attempt to fix it yourself, especially it's under warranty and you don't know how to do it. Unless you don't have a TSX...

It actually does void the warranty and I'm pretty sure Acura can tell if someone has opened it.... b/c we're not nearly as clean putting stuff back together.

Especially since i bet the headlight assemblies aren't cheap either. So be careful.

You should have them replace the leaky ones then tell them you want to keep the old ones. I'm pretty sure they'd give them to you. THen you can do the work on those and have a back up set.

tony's right ... you should find out if they would be actually replacing the headlights with new ones and if so you can DEFINITELY get your old pair back no problem

My local dealers says it's not under warranty, new lights will have the same problem.
I got 2 euro accords over here and they both have this problem.

Strange it's under warranty here.

btw found out today they can't give you the parts when the work is done under warranty. They have to send the unit back otherwise they don't get covered for the money.
