Dented Fender

So it looks like someone leaned on my car and dented my front right fender!

DAMMIT!!!!!

Is this a quick DIY fix? Like do I just remove some under panel and knock it back? Or do I have to take it to a bodyshop?

It really looks like the fender should have recovered and popped back out, but I guess since it's against the seam/ridge it's a little tougher.

I'm really pissed about this and hope I could get some help trying to get this fixed ASAP.

Thanks guys/gals

You have pix? Leave it to the pros. Paintless dent repair! Inexpensive when compared to the heart-ache of looking at the dent.

I used a suction cup to pull the thing out last time. It popped right out just like new.

I used the one that was used to carry windshield.

Yeah that's what I'm assuming I would need to get done .... I don't have one of course, so maybe I'll take it in to the body shop ....

No pics guys, sorry .. I just saw it at like 1am this morning ....

How big is the dent? I leave it to the pro

I have a dent the size of a golf ball, and i went to a dent place near my work, and they fixed it for a 100 bucks. No one could tell there was a dent b4.

It's as big as a CD (circumference wise) ... so you could just imagine.

I called my body shop and they're going to take a look at it on Monday ... just what I needed .... could be worse I guess, but still.

Dang that sucks. I dont have much experience with that. Although if it's a clean dent, i'm sure it can be removed.
I have one myself that is actually in the crease on the part of the fender that's closer to the wheel well. But mine is more the size of a nickel. I hope PDR will be able to get that out for me cheap.

Well, just came back from the body shop ... I have to leave it for a few hours next week for them to try to get it out .... they are hoping to be able to use some "tools" to get it out and avoid having to rework the entire thing and paint etc ....

Because of the dent being on the bend/seam, it poses a problem. YAY for me

Well they're going to try to get it out on their own first, and I think with that I'll get a deal.

Then, if that does not work, they're going to have the guy with the tools try, and for that I think is $150 ... but that's not an official written estimate.

TSX fenders are real thin. thats gonna be a problem with these cars in the future. I had my drivers side fender changed and the old one weighed no more than 4 lbs. real thin. I was real disapointed. by the way, cost $2,614 fender, headlight, and bumper. some schmo in a tractor trailer backed over my car. car was 3 weeks old. i still dont have it back. driving a damn neon

I dont think it could have gotten worse. til i went to enterprise and thats all they had. I will say though it spins the tires real well when you neutral drop it!!!!! Too bad i already broke a motor mount and the cars got 5,600 miles on it. I should be picking up my TSX next week. I wanna see if the neon will last til then. P.S.- Neons are pretty good off-roading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a golf ball sized too. Its really not noticeable unless you look at it at an angle. It hasn't bothered me too much yet, but it is an annoyance.

Ok, so I had it fixed yesterday ...

$80 (cash deal), by hand, with those fancy tools that "pull and pound".

As suspected, because of the dent being on the seam it was tougher than a suction cup could handle. For $80, I'm quite pleased ... it's not 100% (I'd say it's a 98%) but as long as I don't have to do major body work and colour matching of my IBP, I'm a happy camper. Took the guy about 50 mins to do it just right .... lots of manoeuvring of the "waves" as he put it

Will post pics later
