Dealership botched headlight replacement.

Stupid dealer.. This was my second time going to Open Road Acura of Wayne to have my headlight assembly replaced due to condensation. The first time it was on the driver's side. It was replaced with no problems...but as soon as I got home I noticed that there was condensation on the passengder side as well.

I took it today to have the passenger side replaced. As I was driving home, I noticed something was wrong. When I switched on the right turn signal, I noticed it was clicking extremely fast. I was like... WTF! I pull over and notice that the turn signal on the passenger headlight doesn't come on.... and the turn signal on the side view mirror and tail lights are blicking ultra fast. I also noticed that the high beams don't work on the passenger side.. DOH!!! Now I have to freaking go back again.

This sucks cause they always seem to give me abused 2nd Gen TL's as a loaners. I think i have to go elsewhere for my service.

maybe they didn't plug in the connector correctly. Not sure how accessible it is but you may just want to take a peek and see.

On other Hondas if a bulb is burnt out the rest of the blinkers blink fast. I'd assume it's the same with the TSX but I've never had it happen to be 100%

Wayne is a bit far from Princeton, don't know how far you're willing to travel for decent service. But Precision Acura of Princeton has been very good to me and I didn't even buy the car there. I had the condensation problem when I picked up my CPO TSX in May from Acura of Ocean, had it fixed a few weeks later but driving back home to Plainsboro, found that the turn signal in the offending headlight wasn't working. I brought it to the Princeton dealership the next morning (Saturday), no appointment scheduled, and they fixed it on the spot for free with a free wash and everything! Turns out the people at Ocean forgot to reconnect the turn signal wire after replacing the headlight. DUH! Both Ocean and Princeton gave me new 2005 TSX loaners when I've needed service, but I definitely recommend Princeton over Ocean anyday.

I've since moved to Somerset County and the closest dealership is Bridgewater, but I won't go there because they treated me like crap when I went there for a test drive 2 years ago. Apparently a single female isn't allowed to go car shopping there... At any rate, I plan to continue using Princeton even though it's a good 45 minute trek down there now.

Not the same thing, but the dealer left the connector off to my park light. This was an easy fix, but still a dealer mistake. They also forgot to put my radio presets back in. Again, not the end of the world, but these little nit pick mistakes do nothing to improve the Acura Service experience IMO.
