Take the $250 and buy a Helm's service manual and some tools. Then performs the maintenance yourself from now on.

To pay $250 for a hungover wrench monkeys valued opinion to peer into the barely used engine bay and look at the drive belt and spout off "yep, it shure does look purdy, check", doesn't justify it for me. Spend that money on the engine and cabin filter, a synthetic oil change. Look for loose hose clamps, fluid levels, leaks, and light bulb functionality, and you just earned yourself $250.00.

Look at this way, does this $250.00 earn you any more piece of mind that you won't be breaking dow, especially at only 15000 miles?

Ask them what their service includes, and compare it to what's listed in the manual. If they added a bunch of crap, which is likely, ask them how much they'd charge just to do what's listed in the manual for 15k miles. At that low mileage, I can't see the car needing much more more than a simple oil change. $250 is a ripoff for sure.

Crap, $250 sounds good vs. my previous German cars. Although, compared to what others have said here, that doesn't sound good.

What do they do at the 15k service? My car was just in for some warranty work and no one said anything about it needing service.

At 15K miles you should do the following (according to Acura):

Replace Oil Filer (if needed)
Change Engine Oil (if needed)
Check All Fluid Levels
Check Tire Pressure
Inspect Front and Rear Brakes
Adjust Parking Brake
Inspect Drive Belts and Hoses
Inspect Exhaust System
Inspect Suspension & Steering
Inspect Drive Axles and Boots
Add Fuel Injector Cleaner

Acura also claims that you should repeat these every 7.5K miles.

If your not into doing an oil change yourself, I would get them to do the first two items (oil and filter) and do all the other visual checks and inspections yourself. If the handbrake comes up no more than about six inches then if should'nt need adjusting either. I'm fairly sure that I read in the owners manual not to use a fuel injector cleaner as it could damage the injectors.
Just saved yourself about $210.00

I just searched the PDF version of the manual and can't find anything about fuel injector cleaners and possible harm to your engine. Perhaps your Canadian manual is different?

My car has 22k on it and I just changed the oil and filter and tossed in a K+N air filter. I even rotated the tires. I love working for a dealership and using the lift myself!

I will be doing the 20,000 this friday and my dealer want 265.00. What a rip off and to think the 15,000 mile service cost the same too. Than god I told them to just change the oil and do not perform the 15,000 mile service. I asked why do they do the same exact thing at 15 and 20 and he said that miami has a lot of traffic and bad weather so the do everything 5000 miles before.
What crooks.

btw, i follow the severe maintenance schedule...

No, I haven't found it yet either. I thought I read it or possibly heard it somewhere but I may have been confused with ACURA's statement about Egine Oil additives. (page 246).
However I can't find anything showing that you should use Fuel Injection cleaners in the maintenance Schedule.
