Damn CD Changer is busted.

it wont read any cds at all. it loads and continues to try loading the cd, but it won't. i try loading, it takes in the cd and just spits it back out. and it does that untill i pull out the cd.
is this common?

and i just got my car back today from another thing.

Mine doesn't do that. If its under warranty you need to schedule a trip back to the service department. It doesn't sound good (no pun intended).

They will replace the whole headunit for free. Make sure to take out ALL your Cds before you go there, because they ship the unit off, with the Cds and you have to wait 6 weeks to get them back. I've had this problem, and other problems with the headunit. Total times I've got my headunit replace is 5 times.

They'll fix it.

Am I understanding you correctly? You had the headunit in your TSX replaced 5 times?

You know that in this case CD stands for "Compact Disk" and not "Certificate of Deposit", right? The CD changer doesn't do well when you stuff it with paper.

Kidding... Damn, 5 times. I'm surprised they continued to replace it and not give you a hard time about it being something you were doing wrong.

Seriously, do you play retail pre-mastered CDs much? Or CD-Rs and CD-RWs? If so, what brand of discs do you use?

I play a mix of all 3 types, some CD-Rs I use aren't even branded... so far (almost 5 months), no problem at all.
