Damm you mother nature!

Ok, so like all days i tend to give a car an inspection before i drive it, usually after a park.

last night, was a wed night, night before thanksgiving. I did driving, in some pretty crappy weather, didnt think anything of it.

This morning before the gym i go outside, and i notice these weird swirly scratches, not deep mind you, but noticable , at least to me, above the driver side tire pannel, then by the front door, then jumps to the back panel, above tire.

So i wonder, this cant be from a car, becuase then it would have been all across the car, and it coudlent have been a person, it was to random, and not deep enough.

, then i remmeber, there were deff brances all over the place last night, and theres probably a good chance i coulda rubbed up on 1.

Now aside from 3 scratches that i think a shopping cart did to my drivers door, my car is flawless, except now, these weird scratches.

They dont look deep, anyone know anything on how to remvoe them?

Compound the ares? give them a buff ( )?.

All help would be appreciated

yours truly

Elmo

Actually I think he is saying there were definitely branches.

I think someone on this site found something that removes small scratches. Let me search.

Can you take a pic?

Depending on how bad the scratches are, you might want to use a porter cable and a polishing compound. You might get some more responses over in the Wash & Wax section.

i hit a rusted metal pole on the back of my blue tsx, and was pissed for a week, until i got a car wash, and they disappeared magically!! it looked really bad, at least to me, but the paint actually held up. maybe its the same with urs.

Rmatic, you need to lay off the weed. Your spelling is horrible! Like I was always told when I was your age, "The future of America is doomed!"

For problems like that, I use a blue wax made by turtle wax. It works great and hides many scratches really well. My car was scraped by someone trying to pull into a spot next to me and it pretty much saved me $1200. Only thing is since my scratches are deep, I have to re-apply the wax ever time I wash. For you though, it should do the trick, also scratch-x works well too.
