Crazytree, did you notice your window rattle right away, as soon as you pick up the new car? Did it happen with any particular condition only? When your other rattling conditions develop, did the older one just stop? I am very curious to know!
I noticed it probably within 48 hours of picking up the car. But strangely... after I took it in... it was gone. They said they were unable to replicate. I'm thinking that the rubber in the windows just needed awhile to break in.
all rattling conditions began at the mileage specified. rattling issues that are continuing to the 5000mi mark are ongoing and will be addressed this week at the dealership. I thought this was all wierd due to the fact that some came... some went away... and some are still here. The windshield creak literally started a week ago once the weather got cold.

I've had much of the dashboard apart, so any rattles I develop would likely be my own fault. No rattles. I'm also impressed by the way the panels are tightly nailed together ... it's almost as if they really don't expect anyone to take things apart. Ever.

My car is in the shop right now for the second time because of the window rattle. First time, they blamed on the Window tinting people for taking of the door panel. I had the window tint people put in writing that they don't take it off, and the dealership agreed to look at it again. Took in early this morning and they called and need to keep it overnight, so maybe they are actually trying to fix it this time. I'm driving a loaner RSX for now.
