Cracking & Popping Sounds in So Cal

I bought my TSX in late April and love the car, except for the cracking/popping sound (seems like its from the front drivers side windsheild area) that is most prominent in cold weather (60 degrees or below). I took it to the the service dept, but everytime I show up it’s too warm and the service tech can't hear anything. Finally after several trips, they agreed to completely remove the windsheild and add in new molding/seals etc. This seemed to work for a few weeks, but it looks like this was just a function of the warmer weather because the cracking sound is back. I also called Acura Corporate Customer service to complain and they don't seem to be aware of the issue. They said that they have had a few calls but gave me no indidcation that they were aware of this LARGER problem and were working on a fix. If you have this problem, PLEASE call Acura Customer Service (800-382-2238) and let them know!

I know there are many other posts on this, but is anyone having this same problem and have any at home fixes? I've tried pushing down on the "cowl" molding around the A Pillar, but not sure if this is really doing anything. Or can anyone recommend a service advisor in the Southern California area that is especially helpful?

Forgot to mention, there is also a softer cracking sound coming from the rear. They’ve looked at this too and could not locate it.

And if this wasn't enough, I had to have the right rear shock replaced because of a ongoing cherping sound, the drivers side window re-lubed because it was sqeaking when rolling it down and the window washer sprayer tubing un-kinked as it wouldn’t spray. I love this car, but if all this is happening at 5k miles I can only imagine what will happen at 50k or 100k!!

The popping sound you first mentioned I had for a while as well. Apparently it is the dash rubbing against something else and will disappear in warmer weather as the parts expand. Other problems you've had I have not seen.

I too just started hearing the popping sound recently with the colder weather...I know I've seen posts on this issue before, but didn't pay attention because at the time I didn't have a problem. I will be looking into it next time I change my synthetic oil.
