Crack on plexiglass of gauge panal

I need some advice about how best to approach my dealer.
My car is 11 days old with 350 miles.

Last night I noticed a small (~3") crack in the plexiglass (in the middle only) over the RPM gauge. It does not appear to be going thru to the panel, but it is difficult to tell (can't see it in sunlight).
The crack/scratch in in the middle and does not hit any of the borders of the plexiglass. I am unable to tell if it originates from the inside or outside.

Granted this is a small flaw, the rest of the car is fine. I just don't want to ignore a small problem that may or may not turn to a bigger problem later on.

Should I demand the dealer replace it, I think they would be hard pressed to argue that it is normal wear and tear.

Thanx!

they should replace it. no question. wear and tear items are things like clutches, brakes and tires i believe. plus your car is brand spanking new. other than that crack, how do you like it so far?

I love it, its red and glows so nicely in the South Florida sun. I am still getting used to a four door (I had a sweet integra before someone killed it).

If the dealer replaces it do they have to tear apart the interior? I may be asking for more trouble than I want if they make a mistake putting things back.

As for replacing the plastic and them messing things up dont worry about it. Mine had a smudge inside so I had them clean it out during a routine oil change and they seemd to be able to do it no problem. Im sure if it was an in depth process they wouldnt have done it so willingly for a smudge.
