coincidence or from condensation?
my tsx recently fell victim to he condensation in headlights problem. but me being the procrastinator i am just decided to wait for a bit as i didnt think that small amount of water inside would do any harm. just today when i turned the headlights on, the low beam in the headlight wont come on but the rest of the lights all work fine. is this a mere coincidence? or did the low beam being in a more prolonged use somehow made it more susceptible to water damage? theres not enough water in the to slush around its just droplets

I don't usually respond to people who are too lazy to use capital letters (we're not texting here), but.... My comment is two pronged. First of all, it doesn't really matter since the light needs a new bulb, and/or be repaired/replaced. I think the coincidence is too big though. I'll assume you didn't have the recall performed, or it's leaking anyway. An Acura dealer should be able to tell you if it was the water or just an expired bulb (which should be replaced in pairs by the way....).
Usually if any water has hit the bulb while it was hot, it will damage the bulb. Most times that I have seen this, it usually cracks the bulb. Not fun to have to remove the light assembly to get the glass pieces out of the housing.
Hopefully your dealer will be able to take care of it.

I don't think so, judging by what you see when the light is on. I haven't had to replace a bulb yet, so I haven't been in there (headlight casing), though I am on watch. With my 05 in service 7 1/2 years now and with over 175K miles on it, it's finally starting to fall prey to nickel and dime stuff. I'm half expecting a bulb (an HID I mean) to sign out anytime now.

There was a recall for some first gen TSX's that were getting water inside the headlight casing (this was a number of years ago). TSX only I believe. Oh, and I think condensation in not unusual. The bulbs I believe do build up some heat inside the casing, and this will produce condensation in some atmospheric conditions.
