clutch problem

clutch problem

WTF my clutch clicks every time i push it in whats up with that? anyone have the same problem?

mine does this as well - they all do (6MT). I think it is one of the sensors registering the clutch engagement? there are 2 sensors, a high point and low point. this is why the car wont start without the clutch engaged...

My clutch did the same thing for awhile, but it seems to have gone away now...I am at 14,000 kms and have had my TSX since May 2003.

Got it. It's like a creaking sound at the end/beginning of clutch engagement.

Is this on the automatic shift as well? When I first start the car, and put it in drive almost feels/hears something sliding a bit(quite subtle)

no...the click is heard and felt through the clutch pedal with the engine running and when off

it may be the clutch fork (for a better term)... I had the same problem on my Type R... The dealer applied some lube somewhere and the clunk disappeared.

Not sure if gork is the right term but it had to do with some lack of lube somewhere...
