Clicking while making sharp turns
About 4 months ago, I had a loud clicking from the passenger side front tire when turning sharply. I jacked up the car and couldn't find anything wrong. The instant I took it back out is stopped and hasn't made the noise since. Now the drivers side wheel is doing it when turning, sounds just like a bad CV or a dry CV. Both boots on the CV or fine, no tears. Has anyone else experienced this? The car is factory, no rims or drop. Guess I will have to make a trip to the dealership to get some of that great Acura service everyone on here raves about.

Yeah, I check the pressure, retorqued the lug nuts, checked for any loose wheel bearing and brake bolts, checked the axle for any slack, checked the CV boots. Just seeing if someone else has had this, guess Acura will have to look at it.

Well I have appt for tomorrow and they are giving me a loaner. Maybe I will get a Tl or Rl to beat on for the day
I will let you know the out come, I have a bad feeling they forgot to pack the joint and boot with grease at the factory or a bad wheel bearing. I remember someone posted before about a bad wheel bearing.

Drifting
Back when i had a 4runner this sometimes happened on the steering rack. The inner control arms were a "ball joint" and they'd sometimes make a popping noise if you made a turn too sharp too fast. It was just a noise and there was no damage.

Well, my baby is in the dealership. They gave me a 05 Tl with nav to roll with. I really wanted a TL went I ended up buying the TSX. After driving it all last night and this morning. I am alot more happy with buying the TSX. Other than the power(holy crap is it fast) and the little extra room, I prefer the TSX. The TSX has a nicer and more clean looking interior, 20 mpg with the TL, I get 26 with my TSX, more comfortable seats, no cassette player(why is that in a luxury car) and about 5K cheaper. Almost forgot all the rattles, the TL has glovebox, drivers and passengers door and headliner rattles. My TSX only had the window molding rattle(fixed) and the Nav rattle(fixed).
Now hopefully they can figure out the wheel clicking and not use the old "we didn't hear it". I made sure the service manager heard it as I turned in front of him and had him walk the car to mark that there is not a dent or scratch and note the mileage. I told him I expect my car back dent and scratch free and less then 10 extra miles on it. He seemed really understand about it.

Okay, got my car back. They said the problem was the brakes. They said there was no moly grease between the pads and shims and on the guides. They redid the brakes and they couldn't get it to make the noise. I tried last night and couldn't get it to do it again. Hopefully this is it, but I still think there is something else. I just can't understand how dry brakes would cause ticking when turning sharply and no noise when going straight. I will keep an eye out for it.
