So I noticed today on the front grill of my '06 TSX near the Acura logo the silverish chrome is chipped exposing some sort of black, dull, metal beneath.

I'm assuming that a rock must have hit it on the highway or something. Either way this is not cool.

Does anyone know of an easy way to fix/cover this up? This is obviously not covered on the standard warranty right?

my 06 tsx is doing the same thing. Is this warranty?

 

I have an 05 and had a slight chip (probably the size of a grain of rice). Took it to the dealer last summer and told him I saw on the internet this had been replaced under warranty in some cases; they replaced the grill . No argument. That's why I keep buying Hondas, I mean Acuras

That's outstanding, I have been meaning to bring it in for 40k mile service, that's certainly some extra incentive!

Take advantage of this opportunity to take it to a bodyshop and have them paint-match the upper and lower chrome parts of your grille.

Looks infinitely better IMO. One of my favorite cosmetic mods to my car.
