I just washed my car and realized 3 or 4 small chips on the hood.
I have read a post where they had a link for a product that had
an applicator and stuff to fill the spot and remove nicks. Does anyone know where I can find this post?

The nicks are small, but one is a bit deep with rust. Touch-up paint
alone will not do.

 

Just sand paper the rust and overfill it with touch up paint. Let it dry for couple of days then wet sand it. Follow up with scratch X or a polish to bring back the gloss and finish with wax. I did on my PWP and I have to look for it to find it. If the touch up paint had sparkles in it, then it would be almost impossible to find the repaired spots.

 

Before your entire front end starts getting all those beautiful chips, invest in the 3M clear bra. It will SAVE the front end of your car. I wish I had gotten it right when I bought the car

 

dude i wish i would of thought of that too.
i have tons of chip marks in my hood.
as far as the rest of the car goes, my paint is immaculate.
im kinda pissed about it but..whatever man i constantly drive at 80-90 on the highway so i guess its just going to happen .
