the storage bin above the power outlet with the "not an ashtray"....is there suppose to be light INSIDE the compartment? i know there's one that shines down on the lid....i yanked it out to look at the bulb that's there; doesn't light up and i can't tell if the filament is broken....

see what happens when you have a friend install the short shifter (i was installing the fogs at the same time)......after he did, one of the heater lights does not light up with the headlights on....and now i think the other light went out....<sigh>

Yes there is a light (white with green filter).

 

It only turns on with the parking lights.

 

Mine is on whenever the pimplight is on.

 

yes there is a green light in the bin.

I did the same thing with my seat heater switches. while i had the console apart to install the XM Commander, somehow the switch stopped lighting up at night. but the heater still worked. I just bought the replacement switch for somewhere around 35$. *cough***rip-off***cough*

yeah...saw the price for that. hoping i can get my dealer to change them for free. you know...considering that "i" didn't do anything
