Center Console Light Service Appointment - Remove USA Spec??
Center Console Light Service Appointment - Remove USA Spec??
My lights on the center console have been out for a while and I have an appointment this Friday to have them fix it. I have the extended warranty and I know this is one of the many 04 problems that should be covered.
My question is...
I have the USA Spec ipod adapter and was wondering If I should take this out for the appointment. Are they going to be pulling the dash out and replacing something back there? I don't want them to void my warranty or hassle me for having anything aftermarket connected. Who has had this fixed and do you think I should take it out?
Thanks all!

Hmm, good question. I believe they do remove the dash to get to the circuit board for replacement, unless there is another way to do it. If it's not too much hassle, I'd probably remove it just to be safe and not give them any reason to question things.

Thanks for the responses though and if anyone knows how to get that cable out easier let me know.
