Car is off but lights on radio buttons stay on? Draining power
This is the first and only problem I have had with my 05 TSX.
It started a couple weeks ago. The car is off, I lock it and the lights that come on for the radio buttons stay on. Like when you turn the headlights on there are these very dim, cant be seen during the day lights for the buttons and they wont shut off when I lock the car.
This ends up draining the battery so that I cant even start it. I work up north in the oil sands so I am gone for long periods of time. However if the car even sits for a couple hours its dead and needs to be boosted then.
Would this happen if it was a burnt out fuse?

Any solution on this? My 03 accord does the same thing and I even have put an aftermarket radio in but left the power to the radio so I would still have my clock and buttons lit. I've noticed that colder weather increases the chance of this. I've even put my key in the off position and wiggled to see if the connection had issues in the tumbler but no difference.

Despite wiggling the key, the most likely cause is faulty keyswitch (electrical switch assy, not mechanical lock assy).
This is only way switched circuits can remain hot w/ keyswitch OFF, except for unlikley possibility of a cross link w/ a always-hot wire.
good luck

I haven't run into this issue, but a cheap workaround would be to install a battery disconnect switch: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mor-74103 You'll have to key in your radio code and reset the clock, but it's better than having a dead battery. The switch is also very convenient if you do any work under the hood that requires the battery to be disconnected (which is why I have one)

In light of not knowing exactly what failure is occurring to cause your malfunction, I recommend replacing the ignition switch.
- The switch failed in my Son's 04 Accord although the symptoms were opposite of yours.
The switch does have a history of failure, albeit not in high quantities.
- It's the same part number as the switch in the 1G TSX.
- It's relatively easy to replace; it piggy-backs onto the back of the ignition key cylinder with screws.
My Son and I replaced his in 20 min with just a Philips screwdriver.
Just remove the steering column covers to gain access.
-This is what the switch looks like for a 08 TSX (I used Honda OEM part):
