Car Idling really low

My car is idling really low at around 500rpm and has stalled twice. This has started since the install of my comptech header and rt cat. I now have injen intake / comptech header / rt cat / greddy exhaust if that helps at all.

just a guess, but maybe it has to do with the A/F ratio being off now?

i bet there is a 90% chance that the RT cat is causing this issue. you might want to try putting the stock cat back on to verify this.

Sounds like you just need some JDM gas.

I started the car today and it was idling at around 1000 now which is more where it normally is. I just moved it out of the garage so I dont know if it will stay there but I will check later on today. I think I am going to buy the rockway unit the rmpage and tsx536 has that monitors a/f and lets me reset check engine lights and read them.

Obviously we expect a report of your a/f ratio.

$50 for the part. 10 minutes of your time for labor. You may need to have a PGM tester handy. You might throw a code when you pull the o2 sensor.

You may want to pull codes first and see if there was anything intermittent going off.

You just need to adjust the throttle cable...

Careful. Some members may actually go out to the garage, try this, and come back complaining...then starting stupid threads.

will it have a long enough cable cause if you have ever looked under the car the connector for the cat o2 sensor is inside the cabin. the cable is 3 feet long.

however hopefully you are saying that I dont need the one the dealer charges 215 for.
