Broken Center Console Cubby/Pocket!!!

So i was loading something and accidentally smashed in my upper cubby and when i pulled the cubby out, i realize the frame behind is broken.

Now, the upper cubby doesn't fit back in and the lower cubby's hinge is damaged. I have ordered new parts for both cubby/pockets (#18 and #16 image below) and the frame (#12) that holds both cubby/pockets. Does anyone know how to install the Frame??????

PLEASE HELP!!!

#16 locking mechanism is broken on my car too, like it won't lock/stay closed. How did you get it out?

The two pockets pull out for center console removal. But the frame is behind the lower dash assembly from what I can see. Looks like a dash-ec-tomy...God help you.

getting the cubby out should be fairly easy. put both ur hands inside the pocket and place them on the rubber mat then simply pull back. If its not broken like mine, it should come right out. i had to literally yank mine out.

Cubby 16 just pulls out but the lower cubby - #18 requires removing two screws that are exposed after removing cubby #16. I have removed the screws but it still seems as though it won't just pull out?

All you will need to do is removing the mat (part #16) by lifting it up. Place you hand on the bottom of (part#15) push down and slide out and the same time. It would come out.

Or, you could use cut a section from the coat hanger to form yourself a U with hook at each end. Place
them into two little slots on the bottom of the pocket (Part#15) and pull it straight out. It will not take a lot of force to remove it. You may break it by pulling too hard.
Also, be careful when removing this “pocket” because there is a small light assembly on top of this “pocket”. A great chance for you to check the bulb and replace it if nescessary. Good Luck! ! !
