Unhappy Brake Vibrations

My '06 TSX needs rotors turned again! I noticed a slight pulsation at around 80 when new; had the rotors turned at 12k and it needs it again at 28k. I don't drive it hard and I always torque my wheels to specs. Anyone have this problem? Any ideas if aftermarket rotors will solve the problem? I know the '03-07 Accords had the problems; I just thought the TSX brakes were better.

The 04+ had issues too. Just get new rotors and pads. You'll enjoy the better quality of aftermarket in this area. Trust me, there's only a few thousand on here that will agree.

Thank you for the input. So which brand do you guys recommend. I have been a true OEM only person for all my life and do not really know which brands are better except for their ads.

Do a search- there is alot of good information here. Look at he FAQ section on brakes, and some key words to look for are:

Hawk
Brembo
Axxis
RacingBrake
Rotora
Stoptech
Goodridge
Centric
etc.

that's a pretty good start and should lead you too alot of information. There is a recent thread on r1concept rotors (started by HI OFECR) that I personally have had for about a week or <200 miles.-----> https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40916

I wouldn't bother. They're just going to give you another set of shitty OEM brakes anyway. Go aftermarket and you'll be much happier.

Yay, a whole 10k miles of mediocre brakes for free! Gee thanks....more like no thanks. I'd rather not waste my time and just get something better the first time around.

And that's even IF they do it for free. I bet they say it's wear & tear....

Look in our FAQ section. I recently updated the TSB listing.

just had mine done yesterday at 41,000 miles, new pads and rotors turned using the TSB free under warranty.

although they would do the TSB for the rear alignment due to saying the VIN# wasn't within the specified information on that TSB
