Brake and rotor dilemma

Brake and rotor dilemma
My lease is up in November but I need to replace the back brakes. I know the rotors need resurfaced/replaced because the car shudders when stopping. I already had them resurfaced a while ago because of the same problem. My husband will be replacing the pads but at this point, since I'll be turning the car in, should we just replace the rear pads and not worry about the rotors?

Your lease specifies what has to be done. If the pads are gone in the rear, I'm guessing you'll need to replace them. In most cases I've seen, the rear rotors did not need to be replaced after the first set of pads had been used up. Only real way to visually judge is to run you finger nail to the outside lip of the rotor. If it is smooth to a minor amount of lip, pretty good to go. If there is a significant lip, then its a good call to replace. If it is any indication, I have the same rear rotors after 83k miles and I do a bit of spirited driving.
