I've only had my 06 TSX for one week. I hear squeaks when I step on the brake pedal every time. The sound is not very loud. But it's always there. The dealer says it's because of the moisture. It's been raining a lot recently in my city. I don't really believe so. Anybody has any idea about this? Thanks in advance.

 

I have no idea what the problem is BUT my '06 has been doing the same thing. It's been happening periodically.

 

bring it back to the dealer. it's probably just some play on the pads against the caliper. they should be able to remedy or put new pads altogether.

Try oiling your brake pedal. Perhaps some 3-in-1 oil. Not sure how moisture would get in there........

 

I've scheduled a service with dealer... I'll post how it going here.

Okay...I brought my car to the dealer today as scheduled before. After they lubricated the brake, the squeaks was still there....So they loaned me another TSX and kept my car there. However, when I drove the loaned TSX (05 model) home, I heard the same squeaks....

Now I start to thinking maybe it's just "normal" for TSX?

 

Hmmmm, my brake pedal or brakes don't squeak. I don't see how they say it's normal.
