Brake making a Scraping noise

Heya fellas... just a question

I got a 2004 Honda Accord Euro... and i got alittle worried when one day driving my Girlfriend home and then i hear this loud like Metal to metal grinding noice.... now i pretty much shit my pants when i heard it lol

i got out and got my girl in the drivers seat to roll the car and i was listening where it came from... and it was the front Left wheel... so i shook here and shook there and it kept doin it till i pull abit of pressure on the lil metal backplate behind the actual disc... and then it stopped... and its happened again recently ... but i did a sharp left right with the wheel and it stopped...

Anyone know what the hell this could be ... cause it really shits me when it happens =D so any feedback would be sweet as =D

heheh other than that the car is sweet i did my own Resinator rip out =P hehe and gotten tints on the car ... gettin exhaust soon and thinkin of gettin some Extractors and nice rims .. =D heheh

Well hope to hear from a car knowledgable person upperer =P hehehe lol

Could be the same thing that happened to me. The dust cover had leaned in and was rubbing against the brake disc. Took it to my dealership and they fixed it within the hour.

When you checked the brake metal shield, was it bent towards the disc? BTW seeing that you're from Australia, have you tried posting at ozhonda.com as well?

The bent shield happens when someone tried to put on the wheel and ends up misaligning and resting the rim on the shield instead. Hehe, happened to me before. Luckily I pushed the shield back to the original position before driving off.
