Brake Issues (Master Cylinder)

I bought a brand spanking new 2006 tsx and on Sat during my normal driving the abs kicked in when I brake. Afterward, the brake got soft and songy. I took it in to the dealer first thing in the morning and was told that it needs a new master cylinder. Bad part. Only 900+ mile.

Disappointed kind of lose a little faithe in Acura. I have high expectation from the brand

No car is perfect or completely sheltered from defect. Warranties exist for just that.

BTW, I've edited your thread title for better description and searching efficiency.

Thanks! I hope that's the last of the problem for a while. I have been telling myself the same thing.

Good luck.

I've managed to drive for one year and over 70,000km without needing a single repair. This getting good. I'll need to rplace the belts soon, but that is regular wear/fatigue that comes with the mileage. And the endlinks, well...
