My hands free link has failed. Push the button on the steering wheel and nada. Has this happened to anyone else?

did you check to see if your phone had connected to it?

 

nothing happens when you press the button...so you can't check! The prompt occurs even if no phone is linked. The system does not engage

 

it works now... :-D Just needed a break i guess. Restart the car, no problem

 

This has happened to my car several times. My phone would crash and get a white screen of death and the car's sound system would seem to hang while looking for my phone. the only solution is to take out the keys and put it back in.

I should upgrade my firmware on my phone, it'll stop it from crashing.

 

I'm glad that solution worked for you....I had to have the hands free link replaced. Took a week to get the part.
