Question Blitzsafe - HON/AUX DMX V.2 - Anyone ?

Blitzsafe - HON/AUX DMX V.2, HON/AUX DMX V.2X

Is anyone using either one ?

I was all set to get "V.2" then I read [this post] on Blitzsafe forum.

Just spoke to Blitzsafe tech support about the complaint.
(I couldn't register for that forum).

They confirmed & reproduced the problem. Apparently some Nav system have different "protocol". So they're doing a firmware update., should be ready to be released in 2 weeks.

question for you,
so you unplug the (14-pin ?) factory connector from back of radio,
then plug one of the adaptor's connectors back in and plug the other connector
into the one you unplugged earlier ?
this right ?

thanks

(Missing instruction on their site )

You unplug the Navi from the factory HU, plug in the BS in its place and plug the navi in the harness.

I have the same problem though as the guy on the BS forum. Tried replacing the chip and it didnt work.
