Black Paint Sucks so...

ummm.. all acura paint qualities are bad..not just black or white. I suggest you sticking with you color because you are going totally opposite of your body color so its going to be a one bitch job. It really depends how much you want to spend on your paint job. It can go up from $600-4000? Let me ask you this, what is making you to repaint your car? do you got scratches or damages, what is it?

i guess he doesn't like the color?
just to add, that might be a bad move. I believe this will also depreciate the value of the car on top of the money you are planning to spend.

I Quit
you'll need to highspeed buff it to get out the swirls, and if you do it wrong you could end up needing to paint it anyways =P My suggestion: take it to a detail shop

I have a NHB 04, and it got swirls in the wink of an eye. I bought some stuff called SwirlBuster from Autopia and it gets them our real easy....but you should never use a machine to buff your paint unless you seriously know what you are doing. There are so many dynamics to it, so as previously suggested, take it to a detailer. Repainting would be silly, esp when the NHB will look so much better when properly detailed than a white car...

Acura has 2.9% financing, that may be something to consider first. Just go get a new car with the color you want. Dude, I waited seven months for my color combo, milano-red w/ebony 6-spd, from the time I put my down payment until the car showed up.
This was a topic of conversation on NPR's Car Talk. It is very possible, that if you are unhappy with your current paint color, you will be equally unhappy with flaws in the new paint job.
You need to consider that for this to be done properly, the doors have to come off the car, little rubber gaskets that cover various holes need to be removed, probably being destroyed in the proccess so the paint-shop has to go to the dealer to get new ones...if they are even are that meticulous...they may just paint over all that sh1t.
Getting a new car is much wiser.

this is a highly awful idea.
Just take it to pro detailer to buff the swirls out, read up on how to wash a car properly, and wax it every two months. Problem solved. (or sell it)
