Bird stuck in front bumper ...
Just to start, I've done the search on this forum and the closest thing I've found to help me out with this problem is the installation guide for the front under spoiler or the installation guide for the fog lamps.
I've got a dead chickadee stuck inside the front bumper. To be exact the head sticking out of the small hole underneath the bumper right in front of the driver-side wheel. I didn't even think that a bird would ever get stuck in the grill or front bumper of the TSX because of all the protective covers and stuff.
Do I really have to take apart the front bumper to get this bird out of there? Will removing the protective covers give me access behind the fog lamp?
Any help would be much appreciated because I don't feel like going to the dealership to get this bird removed, but I don't want to have to take half of the car apart to remove it.
Then I've got to be able to clean the area - it's been really hot lately and I don't want anything to be still in there...

.The bird is stuck in the hole right before the three little fins in the plastic cover.

Any other suggestions besides removing the bumper??

push the bird with a screwdriver or something?[/QUOTE] Haven't you done enough to this poor bird. Just let her rest in peace in the front bumper
I'd start with the pressure washer at the local self wash place. If that doesn't do it, you should be able to pop the clips in the wheel well and reach in there. However, I can't be sure because without a picture of exactly where you're talking about, I am only speculating.

That would be my last resort because the bird is going to fall apart...

ing. LOLFrom the wheel arch, (driver side), push aside the front black fender piece like if though you are changing the side lights (or you guys call it park lights). If there are some screws or plastic grips, remove them carefully before you move the flap aside.
Insert a long tongs and grab it. Use a long stick if you wish. It is dead so nothing more is going to hurt it. Flush with water to remove any maggots.
After removing the decease.., push back the flap and make sure it is firm as well as the bottom flap. Finish.
Hope this helps and give it a decent burial

I had an unidentifiable small animal stuck under my bumper in the rear a few months ago. It was unidentifiable because the exhaust had cooked it beyond recognition. All you could see was the little tail hanging down from the bumper.
It was really gross, but I just used a stick and poked at it until it fell out. Have you tried just poking at it?

I have no idea how it could have ended up there especially since it was flying from the driver side going towards the passenger side.

you're evil...
